Bglobal Plc is sponsoring the Great Britain Special Olympic Alpine Ski Team in the build-up to, and during, the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games.

Special Olympics Great Britain is a UK registered charity that transforms the lives of people with intellectual (learning) disabilities through sport.

The 2013 games will be hosted in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from January 29th until February 6th, 2013.

The Special Olympics offers over thity-two Olympic-style individual and team sports that provide meaningful training and competition opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities. The inaugural International Special Olympics Summer Games took place at Soldier Field in Chicago in 1968.

Track and field and swimming were the first two sports to be officially offered by Special Olympics.
