Henley Business School and Ticketmaster UK announce scholarship
Ticketmaster UK, a Live Nation Entertainment company and part of the world's leading ticket agent, has announced a new scholarship with Henley Business School, one of the oldest and most respected business schools in Europe.
Industry executives are henceforth able to apply for an annual Ticketmaster Scholarship place on Henley Business School's pioneering MBA for the Music and Creative industries.
Ticketmaster will also have the opportunity to provide mentoring to the chosen student and work with them on their scholarship projects.
"Sponsoring the Ticketmaster Scholarship recognises the vital role that the creative industries play in growing the UK economy", said Simon Presswell, Ticketmaster UK Managing Director, "and signifies Ticketmaster UK and Henley's commitment to improving the skills of those in the industry.
"According to the CBI, the UK creative industries' contribution to the economy is valued at £36 billion. It accounts for around 10.6% of the UK's exports and provides 1.5 million jobs".
