Rileys to be title sponsor for Deryck Chisora vs Tyson Fury fight
Britain's premier chain of sports bars, Rileys, is to take the role of title sponsor for the mammoth British Heavyweight dust-up between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury on Saturday, 26th July, at the Phones 4 U Arena Manchester.
The huge heavyweight fight, between British boxing's two most controversial stars, will serve as a final eliminator for the chance to face Wladimir Klitschko for the World Heavyweight Championship.
On fight night, Rileys will broadcast the blockbuster heavyweight fight live on BoxNation HD across their sixty-three premises in the UK.
Rileys Chief Operating Officer Peter Hooker said: "We are delighted to have become title sponsors for such a massive fight and to now be working with BoxNation. The sponsorship of this fight marks a significant step in our involvement within boxing.
"Rileys has had some fantastic nights for big fights over the last few years and the addition of BoxNation and working with Frank Warren in the future will further develop our boxing and sports viewing for all our customers".
Frank Warren, the Hall of Fame promoter staging the fight, said: "It's great to have Rileys on board as title sponsor for this huge Heavyweight fight between two of British boxing's biggest names. Chisora v Fury is the best heavyweight fight out there and will be a massive night for boxing and general sports fans all over the country".
Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury will headline the blockbuster show in Manchester, contesting the European and vacant British heavyweight title as well as acting as a Final Eliminator for the WBO World Heavyweight Title.
The event also features an undercard which includes former Olympian Billy Joe Saunders challenging Emanuele Blandamura for the vacant European Middleweight Championship; Chris Eubank Jnr in his next outing, whilst Liam Smith defends his British Light-Middleweight title against Jason Welborn.
Liam Walsh returns to action; and there will also be an exciting British Light Middleweight Title eliminator contest between Ronnie Heffron and Liam Williams; and Jack Catterall faces Nathan Brough for the vacant Central Area Light-Welterweight Championship.
Rileys has over half a million members and a customer base of around three million people a year.
