Badminton England and SEAT UK announce new partnership
Badminton England has announced a new partnership with major car manufacturer, SEAT UK.
The partnership will see Badminton England's fleet of company vehicles change to SEAT, with the deal also applying to the sport's Governing Body's major events.
The events include the English National Badminton Championships and the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships, the latter being one of the top-tier events on the international badminton calendar and attended by over 25,000 spectators each year.
Badminton England Chief Executive, Adrian Christy, said: "I am delighted to announce that we have secured SEAT UK as a new partner for Badminton England.
"SEAT is a dynamic and passionate organisation and they present a range of cars delivering the thrilling combination of superior engineering and pure enjoyment; these characteristics represent a wonderful fit for us.
"We look forward to working with the team at SEAT across their network to develop a great partnership and some exciting opportunities for over half a million people in the country who play badminton every week."
Peter McDonald, Head of Fleet and Business Sales, SEAT UK, commented: "Like badminton, SEAT is synonymous with being accessible and dynamic. I'm sure that everyone, from players and coaches to officials, who experiences our cars over the coming months will enjoy the sporty experience.
"We're delighted to be working with Badminton England as its official car supplier and look forward to a very successful partnership in the years ahead".
