Whitley Warriors have announced a new sponsorship deal as Stratstone MINI Tyneside become their main sponsor for the 2018-19 season.

The team is based in Whitley Bay in the north east of England ande currently play in the second tier of the National Ice Hockey League.

A spokesperson for Stratstone MINI said: "We are delighted to be this season's main sponsor of Whitley Warriors.

"Whitley Warriors will begin their season in September. We can’t wait to cheer the players on!

"There will also be opportunities to win tickets to go and watch the team with Stratstone at Whitley Bay Ice Rink".
