Baylis & Harding sponsor new peak time show on ITV, Stepping Out
ITV Commercial has announced that Baylis & Harding will be the sponsor of ITV's new prime time celebrity entertainment series, Stepping Out. The show will launch on ITV's flagship channel on Saturday, 31st August at 6.30 pm.
The broadcast sponsorship package was negotiated by ITV Commercial and John Ayling & Associates on behalf of Baylis & Harding.
The show will see six celebrities and their real life partners put their relationships to the ultimate test via the form of dance. Viewers will see their journey from home to dance-floor as each couple tries to master a new dance genre each week, and the relationship of the couples will be under the microscope as they struggle, embrace and master new dance routines.
The celebrity line up for the series includes Brian McFadden, Denise Welch, Ortise Williams, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, Carl Frotch and Glynis Barber. Stepping Out is an ITV Studios production for ITV.
The sponsorship idents were produced by Cinema Campesinos and written and directed by Ed Pettit and are all about good clean family fun. A couple can be seen practising their dance moves around the house, turning their kitchen and bathroom (with the help of a little music) into a laughter filled dance space. The creative has been designed, says ITV, "to capture that good clean fun spirit and encourages us all to have a laugh and a jig".
Daryl Leigh, Key Account Manager at ITV, said: "Following Baylis & Harding's successful sponsorship of Surprise Surprise, we are delighted to welcome back the brand to sponsor our exciting new entertainment series Stepping Out".
Creative Director and co-owner of Baylis and Harding, Tania Fossey, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be involved in another exciting new ITV prime time family show. Baylis & Harding is seen in all the best places so Stepping Out really appeals to us.
"We simply love the idea of glancing into the lives and homes of the celebrity couples ... but most importantly the show makes us all smile. Who doesn't love dancing? The show is great family entertainment, slap bang in the middle of Saturday night peak time, so we are confident that it will be great success".
