Sky Broadband to sponsor ITV Showcase Drama
ITV Commercial have today announced that Sky Broadband is the sponsor of ITV's brand new Showcase Drama package.
The fully integrated sponsorship package includes broadcast, online and mobile elements, and kicks off on Monday, 3rd September, 2012. The package was negotiated by ITV Commercial and Mediacom, on behalf of Sky Broadband.
The sponsorship will enable Sky Broadband to create a dialogue with viewers and tailor the sponsorship idents to fit the broad range of drama included in the package. It will also serve to highlight the full scope of Sky Broadband's products including its totally unlimited offering with no data usage caps and free and unlimited access for customers to The Cloud – Sky's network of thousands of popular public WiFi hotspots throughout the UK.
ITV recently launched a major new brand campaign to celebrate the forthcoming schedule of new and returning dramas to ITV featuring the strapline Drama Lives on ITV, which can be viewed here: http://www.itv.com/drama/. The ITV1 Showcase Drama package will span across a selection of ITV's drama properties, including new launches such as Mrs Biggs, Mr Selfridge, Homefront and The Scapegoat.
