BALI announce Rigby Taylor as Principal Sponsor of the BALI National Landscape Awards 2009

The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) have announced that Rigby Taylor have agreed to partner with the organisation as the principal sponsor of the BALI National Landscape Awards 2009, the awards taking place on Friday, 4th December, 2009 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The awards are the biggest landscaping awards ceremony in Europe. 2008 saw over eight hundred guests from a plethora of landscape businesses, selected clients, architects, designers and related industry professionals. A whole host of horticulture and garden design celebrities also attended the event, which was hosted by David Domoney and Clive Anderson.

The BALI National Landscape Awards are now in their thirty-third year, paying tribute to outstanding professionalism and skill in the landscape industry. Rigby Taylor Director of Marketing Richard Fry, commented: "Every industry needs an event to 'showcase' its innovative qualities and a champion to support, encourage and reward endeavour. The BALI National Awards is such an event as it brings reward to companies and recognises the efforts of their staff. There are over twenty-five categories at this year's awards, representing the whole of the landscape industry, including     domestic and commercial categories, hard and soft landscaping, land renewal and regeneration, best use of lighting, newcomer award, an award for dedication to training and skills with the employer of the year award and also a series of "special awards" which will be announced at the ceremony. Judging is undertaken by a panel of leading industry experts, who take into account environmental and sustainable issues when judging each scheme.
