Syscap sponsors England Masters football team
Syscap, the leading independent IT finance provider, has announced its sponsorship of the England Masters Team, due to compete in the Masters Football Home Nations 2007 at the Milton Keynes Planet Ice Arena on Sunday, 18th November, 2007. As a staff reward and recognition initiative, and a thank you for a year-to-date of record-breaking sales, Syscap is rewarding high-performing employees with VIP tickets to attend the high profile seniors' football tournament and to meet the celebrity players.

Based on the classic 1982 World Cup strip, the England team shirts will be branded with the Syscap logo and worn by Paul Ince, as captain, Mike Stowell as goalkeeper, Nigel Winterburn, Keith Curle, Nigel Spackman, Rob Lee, Paul Groves, Steve Guppy and Lee Sharpe. As well as being offered as staff prizes, competition tickets will also be available to Syscap's customers and business partners, at a reduced price.

Philip White, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Throughout their professional careers the England players have been ambassadors for football and an inspiration to thousands of people, young and old. Syscap is a sport-loving company and a fitting sponsor for the Masters Football Home Nations 2007 England team. The competition provides a great opportunity for Syscap to recognise the hard work and dedication of its own team, and to raise its profile whilst supporting England's national game."

Adam Benson, Commercial Director for Masters Football, also praised the role of the sponsor: "To have Syscap as sponsor of the England Masters team is great news for the competition and emphasises their passion for sport within the UK. Syscap's partnership with Masters Football associates them with some of the biggest names in English football."

The Home Nations Cup, to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, starts with a group stage qualification phase and culminates in a grand final. The squads, from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, are made up of nine ex-professional football players with a minimum age of 35.
