THE MOBILITY ROADSHOW: 26TH TO 28TH MAY, 2016 - SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT
This is a prime opportunity to reach thousands of end-user customers in the mobility and disability markets. With spending power worth around 80 billion per annum, this is a market not to be ignored. Registered charity Mobility Choice organises the annual national Mobility Roadshow, the UK's premier consumer mobility and independent lifestyle event for people with disabilities, their families and carers. Over three days it attracts around 10,000 visitors from all over the UK, Europe and beyond. Since 1983 the Mobility Roadshow has provided a unique platform for people wishing to test drive adapted and specialist vehicles, either as a disabled driver or to test comfort and safety for a disabled passenger. Non-disabled people would never consider buying a car without test driving first: why should disabled people not have that same opportunity? The Roadshow provides this facility, bringing together leading names in the motoring sector with a range of vehicles adapted with the latest hand controls, plus conversion specialists with wheelchair passenger or drive-from-wheelchair options. In addition it provides a vast showcase of all that's new in the mobility market to enable an independent lifestyle - motoring accessories, wheelchairs and powerchairs, mobility and all-terrain scooters, all-ability cycles, products for the home, fitness and rehabilitation equipment, accessible travel and leisure, clothing and hundreds of gadgets and gizmos. A wide variety of sponsorship opportunities may be available, from headline sponsorship to individual areas within the show, such as: visitor registration; test drive control; design zone; station shuttle service; mobility loans; information point, press office; sports arena; climbing wall and other activities; pre-event news bulletins; radio/TV advertising; exhibitors' reception; plus banner sites and infrastructure support at the venue. As well as the thousands of visitors who attend, there is the potential to reach thousands more through the Mobility Roadshow website and its dedicated Mobility Choice Motoring online portal, comprehensive product and service directory and active social media sites. MOTORCYCLE LIVE (28TH NOVEMBER - 6TH DECEMBER, 2015)
MotorcycleLive continues to present many of the favourite zones and features that have played an important part in making this event the one to be at, and they will continue to play a role. Once again they will receive the revitalisation and fresh thinking approach that the whole event has gone through. Feature areas spread throughout the show will offer exciting, interesting and interactive niche entertainment for visitors. Historically the split of male and female visitors has remained at roughly 80% male and 20% female; the average age of visitors to the show is 35-49. Offering a large, passionate, enthused following, the show allows partner companies the opportunity to put their brand in front of a highly targeted audience. WORTHY EVENTS LTD.
Worthy Events has recently been asked by Orange County Choppers to bring their OCC Live show to the UK. The OCC Live show has never toured outside the US and brings a new format to the UK stage. The event consists of Paul SR (Company Director) having a biker build off with his son Paul JR (Master Fabricator) on stage. The audience is able to participate by selecting the parts from two large screens. The bike is then built on stage and the entire bike building process is displayed to the audience. The OCC Live show is compèred by Mikey, who is the comical son of Paul SR. The show is also backed by the OCC Band, who have toured extensively across the US, Australia, Brazil and Canada and have opened for such big names as Lynyrd Skynyrd, POD and Candlebox. In the coming months the marketing plan will start to evolve and this involves both UK and US marketing. OCC has a TV show on the Discovery Channel entitled American Chopper and Discovery will be advertising both in the UK and US. Discovery has also been asked to film live on tour. Over 500,000 promotional materials will be sent out to the venue areas, which include Manchester, Liverpool, London, Sheffield, Belfast, Dublin, Scotland, Nottingham and Newcastle, along with radio advertisements in each area. The marketing objectives are set to be big and to bring extensive brand awareness to both the sponsor and the event. "Many sponsorship packages are available from billboard sponsorship up to full event sponsorship - so we will be able to tailor a package to your company needs. Please contact Matthew Worthington for more information and he will be more than happy to discuss all your requirements". Contact: Matthew Worthington. Tel.: 01253 352634. SMS/001 RAMSGATE SPRINT REVIVAL
The Ramsgate Sprint was originally run between 1956 and 1968, and was organised by The Sunbeam Owners Club. "Last year, with the assistance of the Invicta Bike Club and The East Kent Classic MCC, we revived an event on Ramsgate prom that was last held in 1968. To celebrate the original event, and from a safety point of view, we restricted applications to race to machines from 1972 and earlier. We wanted it to be free to the public, and in order to create a family weekend we organised a funfair, multiple live bands and an array of caterers, as well as a big static display of classic machines. The East Kent Classic club's membership worked extremely hard to publicise the event, both through social media and at other similar events throughout Kent. We secured multiple time world champion, from the era, Jim Redman, as our guest of honour, but we had no idea if anyone would actually show up. However, to our surprise, the weekend was a massive success and was attended by huge numbers of people! Feedback was totally fantastic. All reports in the media were of a resounding success. We have overcome serious difficulties in securing the venue for the same weekend again this year, and in order to make it even bigger and better and secure it for future years we are looking for a main sponsor to add their name to what promises to become a seriously huge event". This year the event combines with the finals of Miss England 2013 which will be taking place on the same weekend. This presents an opportunity for huge exposure as a sponsor.
