EA UK renews partnership with Sci-Fi-London film festival as official games sponsor

The Sci-Fi-London film festival has announced that EA UK will again be the official games sponsor for this year's festival. Sci-Fi-London is the UK's only dedicated science fiction and fantastic film festival. The festival will run from 29th April to 4th May at the Apollo West End theatre.

Renewal of the sponsorship follows a successful 2008 partnership which saw EA present exclusive game demonstrations and trailers for such titles as Dead Space™ and Mass Effect™ at both Sci-Fi-London and its winter offshoot festival, Oktoberfest. As exclusive games sponsor, EA will be conducting activity to promote its 2009/10 line-up, which includes Dead Space™: Extraction, Dante's Inferno™, Dragon Age™: Origins, Brütal Legend™ and more. Visitors to Sci-Fi-London will get the chance to see new game trailers, win merchandise and games and play a host of EA titles already on the market such as The Lord Of The Rings®: Conquest™ and Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3. Festival Director Louis Savy said: "We are extremely pleased to have EA UK as our key sponsor for this year's       Sci-Fi-London festival. The 2008 partnership was a great success, and included the launching of our new winter festival Oktoberfest. Several of their current and upcoming titles fit perfectly with our programme, which aims to appeal to a variety of science-fiction fans".
