MWH announces sponsorship of UK Youth Parliament
 

Warrington-based environmental engineering company and water expert MWH has agreed to sponsor the activities of the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) for the next three years.

Senior managers from the company will formally announce the sponsorship agreement at a House of Commons lunch with Charles Hendry MP, Vice Chair of the UKYP Board of Trustees, this coming Thursday, 31st January. Attending the lunch will be Jeannie Edwards, MWH Human Resources Director, Vice-Chairman Ken Farrer and Sarah Grimwood, manager of MWH's UKYP relationship. Commenting on the sponsorship, Ken Farrer said: "MWH has a very productive relationship with the UKYP. Senior staff and graduate engineers have led and participated in events such as the recent 'Talking 'bout our generation' day, where MWH's Head of Sustainable Development and Technical Director, Professor Charles Ainger gave a presentation on climate change.
