This year's event is taking place on July 25th at the Mere Golf Resort in Cheshire and all proceeds are going to our two partner charities, CALM and SOS Kit Aid. This would be the third event that we have organised with some of our high profile equity holders, Peter Reid, Andy Gray and Richard Keys. The event has consisted of twenty-six teams of four, playing 18 holes, with a shotgun start, with one of the sportspeople captaining each team of four, before we have run a Q&A session and Gala dinner. We have sold tickets for both the golf and the evening afterwards, which has always been very popular". Contact: Kara Bowman. Tel.: 07814528474. E-mail:

RED GOLF MANAGEMENT LTD: EUROPEAN PROFESSIONAL GOLFER SPONSORSHIP
Red Golf Management Limited specialises in providing bespoke management services for golf professionals. "We pride ourselves on providing a fully comprehensive and personal service which allows our clients to maintain their focus on the most important element, their preparation and performance on the golf course. We are seeking sponsorship for two of our players, Tom Haylock and Andrew Johnston. All money raised will go towards the players' entry fees, travel costs and accommodation expenses for the next European Challenge Tour season. Playing golf at a professional level requires a considerable outlay of money with regards to entry fees, travel, accommodation and general expenses incurred during a tournament. Without help from sponsors, achieving a full playing schedule is impossible. We are looking to raise £25,000 to enable these players to partake in a full season on the European Challenge Tour. There are several ways in which sponsoring these players could benefit a business. A logo placed on clothing or golf bag would promote your company or product. This would be seen at all times when the player is playing professionally in the UK and abroad. Sponsoring allows you to reach specific target markets with a lower financial investment than a traditional advertising campaign, activating a process of automatic communication. Sports sponsorship has one clear advantage over TV advertising in as much as the consumer is actively choosing to watch sports and the sponsorship within them. It is a personal choice that involves emotions which are automatically transferred to the partner/brand sponsor of the event. The companies sponsoring a team, a professional or a tournament, will be perceived in a positive way because the values of the sport are transferred onto the brand/product". SG/002 CALLAWAY JUNIOR WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP: HAYDEN COWLER
"We're looking for sponsorship for our six year old son, Hayden Cowler, who has qualified as the UK representative in his age group for the Junior World Golf Championship in San Diego. Our only hope of Hayden competing is to raise funds to cover the cost of the trip and we hope that the opportunity to support a promising UK sportsman and to associate your brand with a UK representative at this great tournament will appeal to you. Here's a little background      Hayden is six years old and will compete in the '6 years and under' division. Here's a link to him during his qualifying round -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=S1xDGlMl0kg     The Junior World Golf Championship has taken place in San Diego each year since 1968; for more information on the event: http://www.juniorworldgolf.com/node/3.     Hayden qualified for the world event by winning the 6 years and under category at the recent UK qualifier held at the Wildwood Country Resort in Surrey - here's a link to the scoreboard - http://www.gmintgolfschools.co.uk/Callaway%202012/Wildwood%20Q-2%20Tee%20Time.htm      When he was five years old, given his association with the East Midlands Academy and the Derbyshire Academy, he competed over a season in the Derbyshire Futures Tour. Despite being only five and competing in the under 10 category - he was about half the size of the other players - he qualified for the order of merit final. We are incredibly proud of Hayden's achievements in golf and would love to be able to take him to compete in the Junior World Golf Championship. Realistically, we know we can only do this if we are successful in raising sponsorship to cover the cost of the trip. It is for this reason that we hope your organisation might be keen to support us and, we hope, benefit from a positive association. I hope we've provided some useful background here to Hayden's achievements so far, his potential and the event that we are hoping he'll be able to take part in. Of course, if there is any more information that would be useful or if there is any aspect it would be useful to discuss, please let me know (my full contact details are below). Hayden is also playing numerous events this year in the British juniors tour, all over the country". Contact: Simon Cowler, 55 Wisgreaves Road, Alvaston, Derby DE24 8RQ. Tel.: 07973 380186. SG/006 REALITY LEAGUE GOLF
Reality League Golf is a completely new concept in competitive golf. The website was launched in March 2011 and is targeting club golfers across the globe. The concept is to allow club golfers to compete with other club golfers from all over the world without the need to travel. The process is very simple: club golfers continue to play in their Club Qualifying Competitions and submit a copy of their results to Reality League Golf via their online account (complete with the appropriate evidence). The focus is not on what scores they shoot but where they finish in their respective competitions. World Ranking Points are awarded, depending on where they finish and points are accumulated over the course of the golfing season. The Leaderboard can be filtered by each category for Gents, Ladies, Juniors and Seniors and can also be filtered by Country, County or State and even by Club. Reality League Golf is seeking between ten and twelve main sponsors whose logos or promotional material will be displayed on every page of the website, which has the potential to be visited by every club golfer in the world. Sponsorship will be at a cost of £5,000 each and the funding will be predominantly used for promoting the website across the globe in particular countries which have a strong presence of golf clubs and golf club members. There will be an extensive prize fund for the winners at the end of the season and it is hoped that some of these prizes can be purchased from the main sponsors themselves. Contact: Stephen Cavell, Managing Director. Address: 1 Appleby Court, Worksop, Nottinghamshire S81 7QJ. Tel.: 01909 482029. E-mail:
