AFC LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB
AFC Liverpool is a community based football club founded in 2008. It is based in Liverpool and currently plays home matches at Valerie Park, Prescot, Merseyside and travels across the entire north west of England for away games. This division is Step 6 on the Football League pyramid and AFC Liverpool hopes to rise through this pyramid as quickly as possible. The club was formed by fans of Liverpool FC who were finding the costs associated with following a Premier League football club to be too high. The club was therefore formed in order to provide fans of Liverpool FC with a grassroots alternative to the Premier League, whilst maintaining the traditions and atmosphere that Liverpool fans have enjoyed through the generations, an objective which has been achieved throughout the club's first season. AFC Liverpool's attendances have averaged 350, with a high in excess of 600, which is comparable to clubs in much higher leagues. In addition to this they also have a large following of supporters across the UK and overseas, something they hope to build upon. The club operates as a "members owned football club", with each member having a vote in the club, which currently has in excess of 1,000 members. Not only does the club offer prospective sponsors the usual benefits associated with club sponsorship, but also an ongoing partnership throughout any contractual period, designed to deliver value for money for sponsoring businesses and to maximise return on investment. AFC Liverpool will assist its partners to grow their brands via a range of marketing tools available to the club, both online and offline. "We are presently finalising our sponsorship packages, and would be delighted to forward these onto you". Contact: Ken Jones. Address: The Initiative Factory, 29 Hope Street, Liverpool. AVELEY YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB
Aveley Youth Football Club is a club for boys and girls aged six to seventeen years. It was founded in 2005, when the Aveley FC Secretary and Chairman saw a requirement for a youth development policy in the Aveley and South Ockendon area. The philosophy was to bring in youngsters with little or no local recreational opportunities, to get them involved in their local community, support a non-league football club and finally - and probably most beneficially - to achieve a healthier lifestyle, with weekly training sessions for all age groups and Sunday matches in the local youth league. With the involvement of volunteer parents acting as managers, and a couple of mums helping on the committee, four teams of different age groups started the Aveley Youth Football Club. In the 2006/7 season four teams became seven and by 2008/9 the club had fifteen teams, including for the first time teams solely for girls. The club has also achieved Charter Standard accreditation and an SX award. All coaches are either Level I qualified or currently training for their Level I or Level II coaching qualifications. The club is looking for sponsorship to help with the costs of kits, training equipment, goals, balls, etc. For the benefit of the children, they try to purchase wet coats and tracksuits for the cold and wet weekends. Other expenses that the club incurs are volunteers' and coaches' training courses, CRB checking and pitch costs, which also help to support the local secondary school Belhus Chase Academy, which the club pays in order to use their pitches and changing facilities (this in turn gives some much needed funding to the school). The club's players come from different backgrounds, ethnic groups and are of all abilities; and even though its very youngest players only play non-competitive matches, they are still given a full season's fixtures. What can Aveley Youth FC offer a sponsor? Well, all sponsors get a mention and a link on the club's website, an advert in its bi-monthly newsletter and at least one feature advert in the Aveley FC senior team programme on match days. Depending on how much the sponsor is able offer, he/she could sponsor all of the club's away shirts. This would put the sponsor's company name or logo on 200 shirts, featured in local press, on the club's website and with a link to the sponsor's website, an advert/feature in all the club's newsletters and event programmes and a permanent advert for two seasons in the Aveley FC match day programme. Individual teams require sponsors for their home kits, which is in the region of £250-£350 per team. Wet coats and tracksuits can be sponsored for about £300-£600, which would put the sponsor's company name or logo on the back of the jackets. Other advertising opportunities are also available. "For more information on a sponsorship package or to find out more about the club, its teams, or our management and coaching team please visit our website (see the link below). We appreciate any enquiries made". Contact: Kathy Keiller, Fund Raising Co-ordinator. Address: 6 Oval Gardens, Grays, Essex RM17 5NR. Tel.: 01375 413579. E-mail: aveleyyouthfcfunding@hotmail.co.uk

BOLDMERE ST. MICHAELS FC
Boldmere St. Michaels FC, nicknamed 'The Mikes', was formed in 1883 as a youth team. After growing up together, the team members decided they wanted to continue playing together, so ventured into open age leagues. Around the time of the Second World War, Boldmere had emerged as one of the leading amateur clubs and even won the Verviers Trophy hosted in Belgium. After a sustained period of success at amateur level, the club progressed into the semi-professional game and this marked a distinct upward step in terms of opposition. The club took a while to adapt to the new competition; but, as it started to find its feet, it was devastated by a fire which almost put it out of business. In the late 1980s, Boldmere St. Michaels were regular winners of leagues and cups. In 1994/5, the club was a founder member of the Midland Football Alliance, step 5 of the non-league pyramid. They really benefited from the increased media coverage and interest surrounding its 125th anniversary season back in 2008/9. Sponsorship opportunities are now available in connection with the First Team, Reserves, Youth Team and Under 17s sides, while the club also has a network of junior sides. Advertising at the club is available through its brand new, custom designed website, pitchside perimeter boarding, match-day programme and events. There are also numerous other opportunities available upon request. Boldmere St. Michaels is a forward-thinking club which enjoys excellent working relationships with local press media, who will help announce sponsorship dealings. The club has strong links with local schools through their Half Time School Cup, which raises money for P.E. departments and has developed strong ties with Sutton Coldfield College. 'The Mikes' work closely with their sponsor and advertisers. They believe in making regular contact, keeping all concerned informed of their on-field fortunes and exciting off-field events and developments. "The club offers a superb level of after sales service and we value our supporters whom we hope to work together with to drive success". Contact: Andy Van-Hagen, Commercial Manager. British Airways FC has been running for a number of years and is based at The Concorde Club in Cranford. The Concorde Club is a thirty acre site which includes a clubhouse, along with a sports centre, a gym and a sports hall, which all offer a range of sports activities. "We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club has also led to on-field success. Our First Team won the Middlesex County Premier Division during the 2012-2013 season, but were unable to gain promotion as the club did not meet the required standard for promotion. Therefore, in our place another team took advantage and were offered this spot. They are now playing at a semi-professional level, including participation in the FA Cup competition. In return for your sponsorship we would of course be willing to wear your logo on our club shirts and for you to be listed as our key sponsor on all our football section literature. Advertising hoardings surrounding the First Team Pitch is also be an option. Our teams are often on the sports pages of the local papers which we will hope to extend this year now that we have new management. DYNAMO GIRLS FOOTBALL CLUB
Dynamo Girls Football Club, based in Telscombe Cliffs, East Sussex, was founded in 2003 by Ruth Watson, who had run up against the trouble of having her daughter not being able to play in a boys' team when she reached a certain age. So Dynamos was formed - and since the early days when only a few girls turned up, the club now has around sixty girls across four age groups - U10, U11, U12, U13. The club is moving forward and has many plans for development, including facilities for a club house and changing rooms, etc. So the Dynamos are looking for sponsorship support. In the main this would be for supplying the girls with their own kit. At present they have a Nike kit, but this is being withdrawn by Nike at the end of the season. The club would like the girls to turn out in a kit they can be proud of, with a company logo, etc. and so are looking for sponsorship of £250-£350 for team kit/training kit in return for the inclusion of the sponsoring business's name on the team's shirts, their company name on the club's website, invitations to events, a photo of the team in the kit for the sponsor's offices and promotion of the sponsor's company at tournaments, events, etc. Any help would be much appreciated. LEISURE LEAGUES
Leisure Leagues is Europe's largest and longest established small sided (5- and 6-a-side) football leagues organiser. It has around 3,000 teams participating weekly (each team can have up to nine in their squad). This means up to 27,000 players playing in its leagues nationwide each week. 91% of these are males aged between 18 and 39. Targeted marketing can be achieved through a variety of sponsorship opportunities. No other small sided leagues operator has Leisure Leagues' reach. It operates within over 150 partner sports facilities across the UK, many being the prime sports facility in the area. Its dedicated media team ensures local media coverage nationwide, with access to approximately 19 million readers weekly. The prolific work they carry out has contributed to positioning Leisure Leagues high up the Google rankings (boasting a position fourth worldwide on just the word 'leisure') - this could enable potential sponsors to 'piggy-back' their way up the Google rankings through sponsorship of its leagues and their associated inclusion in all press releases. The Leisure Leagues website receives around 100,000 'sticky' hits every month, and growing ... It supplies - or gives free to new teams - approximately 10,000 football kits annually; these could feature a sponsor company's logo. The sponsor's logo could also feature on every one of the 8,000 soccer balls Leisure Leagues gets through each year. Every year it awards around 15,000 trophies - the sponsor's company logo could be prominently embossed on the front of each one. Leisure Leagues distributes up to 3,000 full colour brochures, produced in-house, containing league information and editorial content. Sponsorship of this would see the sponsor's message reach thousands of people weekly and could be used for coupon or web offer campaigns, etc. Other sponsorship opportunities include referee's clothing, vehicle livery, and the National Tournament. "All of these opportunities offer sponsors excellent ROI with a great opportunity to reach a highly desirable database of gender and age specific clients. Leisure Leagues is the only national small-sided league provider which is committed to putting all of its surplus profits towards charitable causes such as Cancer Research and the Dog's Trust. We are based in the Midlands and would be happy to meet with potential sponsors to discuss the possibilities. For an initial informal chat, please contact Andy Taylor, Business Development Manager". The organisation is creating an online magazine supporting 'local' sports clubs and suppliers throughout the UK offering free links to all clubs, organisations and suppliers. Each month will see a feature in each sector offering a unique insight into the selected club. SPORT LOCAL is looking for sponsors who would be interested in backing either individual sports or events across a wide sphere. The opportunity to brand the sponsor positively opens many doors and will allow SPORT LOCAL to benefit small, medium and large clubs across the country. "Sponsoring the sports pages is a proven cost effective and highly visible strategic marketing tool", say SPORT LOCAL. "It is one of the most powerful ways to reinforce your corporate image allowing you to promote your company's name, logo, products or services to a wide but targeted audience, whilst strengthening your links with the community. Many businesses use the online presence of links and email newsletters and promotions to their advantage in the modern e-world in which we operate. Don't overlook sport as a potential partner in delivering good community links as clubs of all sizes and disciplines across the UK are developing creative, high quality and mutually beneficial partnerships with the private sector. Sponsorship provides much needed finance to help get exciting new projects off the ground and sustain established enterprises. Working with SPORT LOCAL within the community in which your business operates will enable us to promote your brand at the grass roots of local sport". Contact: Keith Tunnicliffe.    FTEL/011    IPSWICH WANDERERS FC
Ipswich Wanderers FC started as an under 14s boys team in 1980 and two years later they entered the lowest division of the Ipswich Sunday League. In 1987, the club became founder members of Division One in the Eastern Counties League (sponsored at that time by Jewsons), playing at its present ground in Humber Doucy Lane. Jimmy Barker became a very influential chairman and he negotiated a new sponsorship that entailed a name change to Lancaster Ipswich FC before the club eventually became Ipswich Wanderers. Jimmy died in November 1994 and his presence is sadly missed. A return to the Ridgeons Premier Division is the immediate aim of the club. They are nicely placed for a return and must maintain consistency in their run in to the end of the season under the management of former Ipswich and Tottenham player Jason Dozzell. A lot more work is required to bring the facilities up to Premier Division standards and constant improvements are made every season under the direction of Development Officer Roger Wosahlo and ground manager Tim Davey, who both sacrifice a lot of their time and effort to doing an excellent job. Ipswich Wanderers Youth FC, the youth team who play in the Eastern Junior Alliance at under 18s, are also seeking sponsorship. Sponsors' support will aid and assist the club in presenting a professional image at youth level to the community, thereby attracting some of the best young players for the future who can progress into the Reserves and First Team. The club does not currently have an under 16s youth team, but additional funding would allow them to support financially both youth teams, freeing up needed money for the continued development of the ground facilities. This is Newbiggin Juniors Football Club's first season - and they are doing really well. They are currently in the bottom league of the under 12s division. There is not much available for youngsters to do in Newbiggin, so the football club is a great way of getting children involved in events and working together to create a team that does Newbiggin proud. Sporting St George FC is looking for a sponsor who would be prepared to give a young adult team the chance to progress with its ongoing programme of giving players the opportunity to play football who have been turned away by other football clubs.
