COMMUNITY CENTRAL CIC: SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES
Community Central CIC is a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Leeds. "We work in significantly disadvantaged areas to build community cohesion and promote social and financial inclusion through a variety of projects. The event we are seeking sponsorship for is Armley's Salute to the Armed Forces, an outdoor family fun day to support Armed Forces Day on Saturday, 24th June. Our event is currently the only privately organised celebration approved by the Ministry of Defence in Leeds. Our event has attracted an unprecedented amount of interest from the public, as well as the media, so to accommodate this we have expanded on our original plan which was for a much smaller event. This, of course, has also increased the cost of bringing this community event to the residents of Leeds. The area in which the event is to be held is highly diverse in terms of nationalities, cultures, faiths and race, making this an ideal location to highlight that diversity is positive and adds richness to our communities and that Leeds people - regardless of background - respect, appreciate and stand by our British Armed Forces. On the day, civic leaders, our regional Crime Commissioner and members of the uniformed services will be attending with the BBC, other local news broadcasters and the press covering our event. We are looking at making this an annual event. Please contact us to discuss sponsorship opportunities associated with this high profile event". Contact: Roxanne Newsome. LAMBBOOKS.ORG
Positioned midway between serialised TV shows and novels, Lambbooks produces and publishes Christian family entertainment: bite-sized, illustrated, serialised profiles of significant persons and events of the Christian calendar: Claudia Procula - the wife of Pontius Pilate, Pontius Pilate, Longinus, Judas Iscariot, etc. Publication is in colour and black and white, formatted to stream on all digital devices - mobile phones, tablets and computers - and also in paperback. "We currently have 130 titles. Publications are designed to appeal to some 2 billion believers worldwide, with publications in eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Chinese and Japanese. But because names like Claudia Procula, Pontius Pilate and Longinus, etc., have become mainstream, it also aims to attract the remainder of the curious or critical public, with a focus here on entertainment. They are streamed onto a global delivery platform via our own website and also via Amazon channels to the US, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico and India. We aim to release two new titles/month/language.     Our reach - the nature of our content encourages lively debate and we have acquired a vigorous, interactive, debating audience on Twitter, with one of the highest records of favourited exchanges on the network, and also an interactive audience on Facebook, with daily impressions ranging between 20,000 and 103,000 impressions at minimum bid. With Twitter, Ads, at minimum bid, we achieve on average 50,000 impressions/day/cover, across English, French, Italian, Spanish and German. Daily website traffic is now over 10,000 impressions/month and growing fast. With the right amount of resources, we can increase this traffic per title per day a hundred fold. Because our content is sourced from approved revelations carrying the imprimatur of the likes of Pope Pius XII, and actively promoted by the much-loved Saint Padre Pio and Mother Theresa, our audience trusts us. The festival is set to include daytime arena displays, a fairground and live music, as well as the aerial pyrotechnic displays, which will close the festival on both days. Show in the Park is the latest project from York-based company Events & Attractions Limited, which has been involved in running events in England for twenty-five years. Daytime highlights: groups planning a visit to the new festival will be able to see a variety of daytime attractions. The main arena will host displays including galloping horses, stunt shows, clown cars and BMX demonstrations. A second arena will host a Red Dragon Monster Truck - a giant truck seating up to ten passengers who can enjoy a bumpy ride aboard the vehicle. There will also be an area for children, who will be able to learn circus skills, enjoy Punch & Judy and meet animals in a petting zoo. Further daytime highlights include walkabout entertainers and a collection of funfair rides. The festival after dark: in the evening, the main stage will host a party band as a warm-up act to a major tribute act each evening. These will be a One Direction tribute on Saturday evening and a Take That act on Sunday. The festival will end each day with 'Twister' pyrotechnics - fireworks fired out of planes to create an exciting finale. Ticket information: tickets are on sale now, and organisers can choose to pay for a £12.50 adult ticket for each day, or a combined two-day ticket at a cheaper rate of £20. The daytime entertainment and evening concerts are included in the price, and those booking online in advance will receive £5.00-worth of discount vouchers redeemable at the funfair. For more information and tickets visit
www.showinthepark.com. Sponsors will benefit from large attendances and major high profile publicity across the region. The event is licensed for ten thousand people on both days. Minster fm, which covers the city of York and surrounding areas such as Selby, Tadcaster, Thirsk, Goole, Howden and parts of Leeds, will be broadcasting live on both days and also compering the event on both days. Interviews and adverts will be broadcast during the lead-up to the event. Newspapers and magazines have already been publishing stories about the event and working alongside our PR company. STREAT PR: STREET FOOD AND FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL - please call fot updated details
StrEat PR Ltd was set up by Cathy McConaghy in 2015. For many years Cathy was a professional event organiser and gave that up to become one of the first street food traders in the UK. With her little pink camper van, Cathy was part of the "street food revolution" that paved the way for the industry we know and love today. After seven years of trading at numerous events, festivals and highly prestigious corporate events, Cathy decided to combine both skill sets and launch the UK's first national Street Food Festival in Harrogate. Cathy set about using all her street food contacts and brought together forty-two of the UK's finest street food traders, together with lots of quirky performers some of which had never been seen in the UK. The event was a huge success and a staggering 110,000 visitors were welcomed to the festival. StrEat PR and Harrogate were on the street food map as a destination event. Cathy organised the entire festival on her own, including booking the contractors, suppliers, performers and traders, organising the logistics, PR and marketing, stage managing the build and breakdown, handling all the trader and public enquiries and even relocating traders overnight, due to a flood, building fences and cleaning Portaloos! As a result of her hard work and after the huge success of the festival, she is honoured to have been invited to stage a street food market at the Great Yorkshire Show and is launching a brand new boutique festival at Newby Hall, Ripon. StrEat PR runs the Harrogate festival on a non-profit basis and it is being operated this year purely as a promotional tool for the other projects. To secure the future of the festival, for the local community and the independent traders, StrEat PR is seeking sponsorship. StrEat PR is seeking sponsorship from a forward-thinking company which genuinely wants to to promote its brand to a receptive, interactive audience. "Ideally we would love to continue hosting the Harrogate festival as a free event. But there is no space to expand or to ticket the event. Unless we can secure some sponsorship, we will have no alternative but to take the festival to another location … we can't keep making the festival better each year with no money in the pot! We are delighted to be hosting a brand new, boutique Street Food and Family Fun Festival at Newby Hall and Gardens on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th September. Newby Hall is a perfect pairing for our family market and attracts thousands of visitors over the summer season. We have VIP glamping, camping, hot tubs, Europe's largest outdoor movie screen, craft beer teepees, awesome street food and amazing performers to delight the crowds. We are confident that the Newby Hall Festival will be a regular event in the UK festival diary and are looking to expand by bringing in headline artists. 2018 would see the introduction of a third boutique street food festival and we are currently looking at various locations to site the event". As the world's largest independent touring stunt show, Scott May's Daredevil Stunt Show has a lot to offer in terms of sponsorship opportunities. Currently with no sponsorship support, the show achieves an average spectator attendance of 300,000 per year. The Tailwagger Dog Display Team is a self-funding team of thirty-two people drawn from The Tailwagger Training Club in Leeds. At present they attend various shows throughout Yorkshire, ranging from small village fetes to agricultural shows. One of their main shows is Bramham International Horse Trials in June each year. This year their show season culminated in a trip to south west Wales in September to defend their title of Dog Olympic Champions, which is an inter-club competition held each year. The team retained their title of Dog Olympics Champions, coming first and third. "We are now ready to launch this event in Yorkshire. We have our own PA system, generator, trailer and portable fencing - all of which require servicing/upgrading from time to time. Our trip to Wales costs in the region of £6,000.00, including fuel and overnight stays, all of which we pay ourselves. JSLN Dance Company is an international neo-classical ballet company committed to bringing world class ballet to rural areas. The company works to make ballet accessible to all audiences, young and old, and to new audiences who may consider the art form as being somewhat dull and outdated. "We have the belief that ballet is art for entertainment and seek to make it sustainable for the future by giving it a refreshing new outlook. We are currently seeking corporate and private sponsorship for our upcoming UK tour in summer 2016, where we are presenting a triple bill consisting of a new version of Petrouchka, an adaptation in dance of the popular sitcom 'Allo 'Allo! and an elegant neo-classical work, Transitions of (I)dentity, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. The company was founded in 2012 by Artistic Director Sören M. Niewelt and Principal Dancer Jessica Larbig and has performed to delighted audiences throughout Asia and Germany since its inception. Niewelt is an inspired choreographer using versatile dancers with strong classical technique to present works ranging from classical ballet repertoire, refreshing and exciting neo-classical ballet as well as using his natural sense of comedy to entertain audiences. JSLN Dance Company is a non-profit organisation and is committed to social outreach work through its Happy Feet project, taking dance to care homes, hospitals and hospices, bringing dance to those who are unable to visit theatres. We have also worked with disabled children with varied levels of cognition in special schools to share with them the joy of dance.
