A large open air classical concert will be taking place in Cantley Park, Wokingham on Sunday, 26th June, 2005.
The concert has a capacity of 5,000 people but, because this is the first Classical Showtime event, the organisers are expecting to sell 3,000 tickets. The programme will comprise numbers from the classic stage and film musicals and will be performed by The City of London Sinfonia Orchestra, accompanying four leading soloists from the world of music and theatre.
The aim of the event is to raise money for the charity Mencap.
The name and logo of the sponsor would be included on all promotional material, including tickets, and branding could be displayed about the site on the day of the concert. Further options can also be discussed. As well as benefiting from brand exposure, the sponsors and their guests would be invited for a drinks reception on the day of the concert at Cantley House Hotel which is adjacent to the park, before enjoying the music.
