Sponsor's Commitment: financial support is sought to cover a three year, full-time doctorate research programme (PhD) at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. This includes course fees/living/conferences/travel expenses at £100,000 - £120,000 for three years; prototype development costs are estimated at an additional £50,000, which is optional.

Background: Keith Bound, the founder of Receptive Cinema, is an award-winning designer and innovator who has exhibited his work at the Design Council and the Science Museum in Birmingham, UK. In May 2010, he created Emo-vie, an interactive media concept, which was selected as a finalist in the Cisco i-prize global innovation competition, which aimed to find the next billion dollar business for Cisco. Competition was fierce, with nine finalists from 3,000 participants, and 900 ideas from 149 countries.
