Little Legs for Life steps up the pace in its search for sponsors of Chertsey community event

Little Legs for Life is a walk/run event for the children with no distance parameters or boundaries on age or sex.

Little Legs for Life is an amazing event as it gives the local community a platform to encourage child fitness and a community spirit, whilst engaging young children and parents in fundraising for and awareness of Cancer Research UK.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 17th, 2010 in Chertsey. It is aimed at primary school children (4-11 year olds), although older children are more than welcome to join in. Any child under four years old can also take part in the Tiny Legs event, which is a shorter distance and walked/run with a parent or guardian.

Medal

"This event has baseline costs which we need funding for. Each child taking part will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Licences need to be applied for and obtained from the council. Leaflets, banners and posters need printing. Online registration requires a payment process facility. Raffle prizes need to be found. Event day packs need to go out. Portaloos need booking, temporary bins need sourcing and list goes on!

"The event will have 500 children with family and friends all in attendance to cheer them on. The race itself will be part of an afternoon fete where the community will come together. There will be stalls, demonstrations, food, music, bouncy castles and approximately 2,000 people enjoying themselves.

"In return for supporting the event we can offer a variety of options to your business, which could include: your company logo on the children's t-shirts, medals, posters, the event day brochure as well as your products in the goodie bags and being used on the day.

"There are also opportunities to be a primary sponsor.

"Your help and support is essential to the success of this event".
