Spotlight on Birmingham Hippodrome, as sponsorship opportunities take centre stage Birmingham Hippodrome has presented the best in entertainment, opera and ballet, dance, comedy and drama for the people of the West Midlands and beyond since 1899.
It welcomes 500,000 visitors each year, making it the busiest single theatre in the UK.
It is also one of the top five paid-for visitor attractions in the region and one of the top twenty in the UK. 70% of its audience comes from outside Birmingham and of those nearly half come from outside the West Midlands.
As a registered charity and independent theatre trust not in receipt of any regular or direct public subsidy, support from the business community is crucial to the organisation to maintain its excellent facilities, to continue to attract acclaimed companies and repertoire from across the world and to implement a vital education and access programme.
