Sponsorship opportunities available at several stages of The Bristol Festival

The Bristol Festival 2009 - now entering its second year - is the south west's hottest new music, arts and culture festival, organised by volunteers to showcase a massive range of local talent.

Attracting 14,000 last year, with a capacity of 30,000 for this year, the Bristol Festival is a cultural melting pot of the city's diverse communities of all ages and backgrounds, brought together through the shared enjoyment of music, dance and food.

This year 2,000 performers and 300 volunteers join together on Friday, 18th to Sunday 20th, September, for the festival located in the heart of the city centre. The festival has two parts:

Brizzolfest - a large outdoor site located within the Amphitheatre, including seven stages of live bands, world music, dance, cabaret, street theatre, kids' areas, workshops, interactive digital projections, fire shows and world foods

Rave-on-Avon sees the crowds move into ten nightclubs for the evening. The event is the highlight of the group's year round charity work, including free workshops in arts, music, dance and theatre, with local community groups and schools involved in performances.

The group also offers volunteer training, event industry work experience, skills swapping and house local artists in subsidised studios throughout the year.

The Bristol Festival has massive public support in the region and receives unprecedented levels of press coverage including BBC and ITV, every local radio station from Community FM to BBC Radio Bristol, front pages and extended features in local press such as Venue Magazine and the Evening Post and over 3 million website hits a year.

Bristol has one of the most edgy and alternative under-30s demographics in the UK and is home to the wealthiest students outside of 'Oxbridge'.

"Sponsorship opportunities offer excellent value for money", say the organisers, "with advertising across all our publicity. We are flexible and happy to incorporate your ideas when promoting your brand in association with our fantastic project".
