With sponsors' support, winning sixteen year old racer Jake Green can step up another gear

At just sixteen years of age, Jake Green is recognised as one of the most promising new talents in motorsport.

Winner of the junior gearbox karting championship at his first attempt, aged just fourteen, Jake stepped up a gear to compete with the senior 125icc gearbox kart class. The highlights of his second impressive season saw Jake go on to win both the Shenington Kart Racing Club Summer Championship and the Lincolnshire Kart Racing Club Winter Championship - all before his sixteenth birthday.

In summer 2008, Jake had the prestigious honour of being one of just twenty drivers from all over Europe selected to take part in a scholarship course in Spain for Formula BMW.

Since then, he has been talent spotted by leading names in motorsport such as Anthony Hieatt, team principal to F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen's team, Raikkonen Robertson Racing, who unequivocally described Jake as "the real deal". Jake has also caused a stir in media circles - attracting national coverage on BBC Radio, as well as leading regional newspaper the Sunday Mercury.

Coupled with his natural talent and impressive technical ability, Jake is widely recognised as having maturity and talent ahead of his young years. In Anthony Hieatt's words, "Jake is really mature for his age - he's an old head on young shoulders if you like. He listened very carefully to his instructors, taking on board any advice given". Anthony added: "He was achieving the sort of speeds I would expect from a far more experienced, older driver".

As one of the UK's up-and-coming stars, Jake now aims to develop his career in single-seater car racing by securing a place in a top championship such as British Formula Ford, where, in test sessions, he is proving himself as the 'one to watch'.

To achieve this, Jake needs to raise sponsorship, through either an exclusive or multiple partnership agreement with sponsors looking to promote their business in the motorsport arena, with its infinite possibilities for worldwide media exposure and first class corporate hospitality.

This is an excellent opportunity for enterprising companies to get in at the dawn of the career of one of the UK's brightest sporting hopefuls and to establish an ongoing partnership with Jake as part of company marketing campaigns.
